Artist ☆ Painter ☆ Visionary
Pop art artist Ali Görmez has had a colorful world view since he was a child. In his art he deals with the topic of peace, in which he focuses on complex concepts such as consciousness, feeling, thinking and learning.
The Berlin based pop art artist Ali Görmez was born in 1980 in Bielefeld in north Rhein Westphalia. His interest for arts, colours and shapes began at a very young age of him drawing cartoons.
Inspired by the work of Keith Haring, James Rizzi and Picasso, his works are now internationally known as pop art.
For Ali Görmez work, colors are existential, because his choices reflect his moods during the creative process. The method he uses for this is called instant visulation.
“I close my eyes and may see already
the finished artwork,
then I transfer it to the canvas.”
This vision reproduced almost perfectly. During the painting process, the vision of the work changes very little.
Art gallery & Art Café
Since the end of 2016 the artist has been running his own gallery “Osbili” in Berlin – Schöneberg. Many of his original paintings and collages are presented there. The “Osbili” gallery houses an adjoining art-café in a cozy neighborhood atmosphere. In the summer seasons, visitors to the gallery can linger on the small terrace in front or in the art-café.
